Monoliths, panels and way markers for circular ‘Bittern Trail’
Two metre high stainless steel monoliths, colour coated and carrying graphics, were the main element of thei project. They were shaped to imply a feathger and/or sail, reflecting the wildlife and the recreational use of the lakes. The graphics showed high quality illustrations of wildlife species accompanied by a map of the trail. Three different monoliths were sited at key locations on the trail.
Several panels were designed to link with the monoliths. These contained information on key wildlife sites and habitats around the trail. Bittern way markers completed the whole scheme.
